BIOGRAPHY
Jonathan S. Horn is the founder and president of Horn Capital Realty, Inc. (HCR) a full service commercial real estate company formed in 1995. Horn got his start in the commercial real estate business in the late 1980’s during his junior year at the University of Texas at Austin. Since then he has successfully completed approximately one billion dollars in sale-leaseback financing, triple net lease sales, debt and equity placements, and build-to-suit ground lease transactions.
Jonathan S. Horn’s earlier experiences came as a college student when he worked for some of the industry’s largest firms such as Grubb & Ellis and The Weitzman group in Austin, Texas.
Upon graduation, Jonathan S. Horn was hired by Duddlesten Realty Advisors in Houston, Texas, as an Investment Advisor – a position that exposed him to different facets of commercial real estate including office, multi-family and the mini storage warehouse sector. Horn found his niche representing developers in the sale of Triple Net Lease properties and preparing financing packages for securitization financing of Triple Net Lease projects.
In 1994, Jonathan S. Horn moved to Dallas, Texas, and joined Henry S. Miller Commercial. He quickly rose to Vice President of the Retail Division and soon established himself as the firm’s top producer. Foreseeing a trend-in-coming, he formed Horn Capital Realty in 1995. Here, he continues to successfully provide his services to many high net worth individuals and institutions across the United States and inform the industry as leading consultant.
